Mercedes-Benz gave the emblematic G-Class its first complete overhaul for the 2019 model year. Still built in Graz, Austria, the off-roader wore an evolutionary exterior design but it was entirely new beneath the sheet metal; the exterior door handles were one of the three components carried over from the old to the new G. Mercedes-Benz notably redesigned the frame and the steering system, and it stuffed more tech features into the cabin, but kept the three locking differentials.
